We are ACC registered. If you have had an injury, we can lodge your claim directly with ACC. There is no need to see your GP first. Read below for further information.
We are also a Southern Cross Health Insurance Treatment Provider. If you have a policy with Southern Cross, just provide your policy number and we can use Southern Cross Easy Claim to invoice Southern Cross directly on your behalf.

The osteopath will begin by discussing your overall state of health. They will ask you questions about your current health conditions and medical history to determine the treatment techniques which will be appropriate for you.
The osteopath will then undertake a physical examination, observing and assessing the way in which you move, movements that cause you discomfort, asymmetries in joint mobility, and soft tissue texture and tension. This process involves active and passive movement, and we advise that you wear light, flexible clothing.
With your informed consent, the osteopath will then move into the treatment phase using osteopathic manipulative and soft tissue techniques to alleviate muscle tension, release joint restrictions and improve overall circulation. In some cases, recommendations will be made for home-based exercises to further progress your rehabilitation and healing process.

Have you had an injury?
Then you've come to the right place. All Healing Touch osteopaths are registered ACC providers, which means that ACC may contribute to the cost of your treatments, and referral letters are not required. If you have an existing ACC injury claim, simply bring your claim form or claim number with you to your first osteopathy appointment.
